Bjäre härad's heritage museum just outside Båstad is in a fantastic location, surrounded by impressive bronze age mounds and outstanding views of Laholm Bay. In the park there are houses and farms that reflect Scanian building tradition over several centuries: Palmagården with its own ghost, Ågegården which ended up here in connection with the legal shift and Hjärnarps rectory to name just a few. The world-famous soprano Birgit Nilsson's long-term commitment to, via concerts in, among others, Västra Karup's church sponsoring the home village association is also highlighted, of course. Especially during high season, Hembygdsparken offers exhibitions and various events. Of course, you can sit down and enjoy a coffee.
