Hovs Hallar are the Bjärehalvön's powerful encounter with the sea. Here, precipices, rocky beaches and fantasy-evoking rock formations bear witness to the indomitable forces of nature.
This area is a real magnet for famous film directors. Film lovers dream of seeing the place where Death and the Knight play chess in Ingmar Bergman's film classic The Seventh Seal. In 2017, Hovs Hallar, then one of ten (!) places in Europe, received the award Treasure of European Film Culture.
