The Bjäre peninsula has a fantastic film history where Ingmar Bergman's "The Seventh Seal" probably takes the prize. People from all over the world visit Hov's halls to see and experience the world-famous filming locations. Why not get on the boat in Båstad's harbor and join us on a film cruise along the wonderfully beautiful and diverse Bjäre Peninsula? The guide Ingrid Persson Skog will talk about films such as Bergman's "The Seventh Seal" and "The Hour of the Wolf", both with iconic and spectacular scenes from the evocative landscape that we see emerge so clearly during the boat trip. The rocky beach also brings to mind Jan Troell's film about the disastrous North Pole expedition depicted in "Engineer Andrée's Flight", as the beach part was transformed into Danskön in the film. There are a whole series of recent films and film scenes that were shot in the area, not least "Bränn alla mina brev" which had its premiere in the fall of 2022. During the boat trip we also take a detour to Halland's Väderö, where the lovely, unforgettable scenes with Ronja and Birk i vitsippskogen was recorded in 1984.
